Don’t upset the parents

I committed the cardinal sin today and parked in a family bay at Sainsbury’s with no baby. Before all you parents start throwing used nappies at me, I have to add that I did it totally by accident, on auto-pilot, being so used to having a child with me – I actually forgot I hadn’t.

As I was unloading my shopping, the look of scorn and indignation from other parents who had had to park in the normal bays was priceless. Having been that scornful parent I was quite mortified at my antisocial behaviour.
